SZEGED, Hungary (Reuters) - Four human traffickers were jailed for life in a final ruling in a Hungarian court on Thursday for the deaths of 71 migrants whose decomposing bodies were found crammed inside a truck dumped on an Austrian motorway four years ago.
An Afghan ring leader and three Bulgarian accomplices were found guilty of organized human trafficking and manslaughter as they refused to stop the refrigeration truck and open the doors to let air in despite pleas from the people inside.
